To us, Guatemala is a country rich in beauty, deep in culture and joyful in friendship. Through our travels we have met many amazing people, seen a multitude of one of a kind places, and have reveled in the countries distinctive contrasts. Even though Guatemala is a relatively small country, you would not know it with the diversity of experiences you can have. Normally your trip would start by landing in Guatemala City’s newly rebuilt La Aurora airport. This is one of Guatemala’s largest airports and is where most flights connect. From here you have virtually hundreds of destinations to choose from. You can start off your tour in the very metropolitan city of Guatemala City, take a taxi or bus to the beautiful Spanish colonial honeymoon destination of Antigua or you can arrange a bus or plane to take you to one of the further off destinations such as Coban, Peten, Livingston, Xela or countless other destinations. It always seems that no matter what our destination has been we have met amazing people, seen beautiful sites and made many one of a kind memories we will never forget. I know this because here is where I got to know my wife, my new family and have made countless great friends. |
